FAQ: Should I become a a member even if I am not ready to volunteer?
Absolutely!! The purpose of this organization is not only to encourage physician volunteerism and activism but also to provide useful links, resources and information exhange for those individuals who have an interest in international health. Just because the time is not right for you to volunteer at present does not mean that you can't be a valuable asset. You might hear of useful local projects and organizations or read interesting articles regarding health care overseas and you might want to add them to our directory. In addition, we hope to provide user friendly articles and announcements of general interest to all members.
